ah lol i crashed. Did anyone answer my question by any chance? I'd like to know if it is possible to let typo3 not include it's css files to the template. I think it is the css_styled_content css file. |

Jigal |
TypoScript: CONTENT object, 'table', 'select' etc. properties set; can I somehow retrieve the uid of the record to feed to another object on the page? |
| 09:08 |
just2b |
you wanna remember the uid? |
| 09:09 |
uschi |
i do not understand what you mean |

just2b |
I do ;) |

http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/rgteaser/1.0.1/info/static%252Fsetup.txt/ |

but if you want to remember the uid, in the renderObj first produce a LOAD_REGISTER |
| 09:09 |
uschi |
is it that what you want? |
| 09:09 |
just2b |
uschi that is what i linked :D |

just2b: I need the record id to pass it to another element in the same typoscript |
| 09:11 |
uschi |
in the other ce you can access it via register:meinRegister |
| 09:13 |
uschi |
hmmm, Jigal, is your select so that it only one CE is returned? |
| 09:14 |
Jigal |
uschi: yes, max = 1 :-) |
| 09:14 |
uschi |
well then you can do it like that |
| 09:14 |
Jigal |
must LOAD_REGISTER be done inside a COA_INT object, or can it be a COA? |
| 09:14 |
just2b |
take a look at my ts jigal |

no, works with COA as well |

why, by the way? |
| 09:17 |

uschi: because I'm trying to put it in an existing Typoscript... |
| 09:17 |
uschi |
i was asking just2b |
| 09:18 |
uschi |
i do not understand, what that has to do with COA_INT |
| 09:18 |
just2b |
i have the coa_int because of the tstamp as age! |
| 09:19 |
just2b |
12 = TEXT |
| 09:19 |
just2b |
12.field = tstamp |
| 09:19 |

only the age changes |
| 09:21 |

yeah i guess I could make this cOBj TEXT in an own COA_INT |
| 09:21 |
uschi |
right :) |
| 09:21 |
just2b |
but this ext was more a proof of concept... page teaser without one of this "great" extensions |
| 09:22 |
uschi |
how does this teaser thingy work |
| 09:22 |
Jigal |
if I look at the TS that just2b gave, I must add a COA_INT/COA inside the CONTENT object, with LOAD_REGISTER inside that. I am not sure from the just2b's ts that I can read the registered data outside the CONTENT object... |
| 09:22 |
uschi |
there are lot of extensions around because people tend to prefer php to ts |
| 09:22 |
just2b |
takes e.g. 3 CEs of a page |
| 09:22 |
just2b |
uschi... yeah but it is so complecx |
| 09:22 |
uschi |
no, it does not have to be COA_INT necessarily |
| 09:23 |
uschi |
the CONTENT object needs a renderObj |
| 09:24 |
uschi |
if all you need here is its id, |
| 09:24 |
uschi |
something like this is enough: |
| 09:24 |

renderObj = LOAD_REGISTER |

Hi if I use styles.content.get to read out the tt_content frm some page, is it possible to override the class tag that get put arpund bodytext of cObject type text? At the moment I can only change it globally, however I only need some parts to have a different tag. |
| 09:32 |
specialunderwear |
tt_content.text.20.parseFunc.nonTypoTagStdWrap.encapsLines.addAttributes.P.class = roflmao does it globally |
| 09:32 |
specialunderwear |
but how do I do it inside a 10 < styles.content.get 10{ } block locally? |
| 09:33 |
uschi |
what do you want? getting rid of p class="bodytext" |
| 09:33 |
specialunderwear |
no make it into class="roflmao" |
| 09:33 |
specialunderwear |
which I can do |
| 09:33 |

But only globally |
| 09:33 |

and you only want to do it if you have it as a cType text? |

still do not get what you want |

do you guys and girls know how to make a link that expires in one day? |

so I do not know if that is appropriate for my need |

no? funny |
| 09:39 |

my customer is selling download products |
| 09:39 |

The box is in my page template and I am restricting access to some news to registered users only |

so, initially the user will see a message telling them to login, if they use the box in the template, the message 'no news_id given' is shown does anyone know how to fix this? |

I've added a "tools" the the TCEform of pages. It can add a set of predefined tools to a page (requirements to complete the contents of the page) - being a printer, scanner etc. Now they want me to make it possible to add these as either a requirement or a recommendation. Any ideas how to implement this? |

that does not give the appropriate result, because TV does not set the delete flag when you 'delete'an element |
| 20:56 |
uschi |
this is, because in tv the page knows by itself which content elements it has to show |
| 20:56 |
uschi |
therefore you can reference a ce on any other page |

which is quite useful at times |
